"To visit Rocky Mountains by deluxe train tour". This key word made me a decision to visit Canadian Rockies. From Vancouver to Banff, this two days' tour exceeded my expectation and very exciting tour.

Train left from Vancouver Central Station at 7:00am for Kamloops, first day's destination. The coach had two levels, upper deck for seating and lower deck for dinning. The view from upper deck seat was excellent and I could see the mountains just above my head. The breakfast and lunch were served in dinning deck and foods were excellent. (you have a  choice from 4 courses  for breakfast and lunch). The first day, the train run along the Frazer river and Thompson river. I enjoyed to see the fishes swimming in the river, eagle nest on the top of telephone pole together with nice view of landscape. Train arrived Kamloops at 17:00. Every passengers stayed at Hotel in Kamloops.

The second day was more exciting view than the first day. Train left for Banff at 7:00am from Kamloops. The view changed from riverside view to mountainside view. Train passed many creeks, valleys, tunnels and bridges, and approached to Rocky mountains. After passing spiral tunnel, many shape of Rockies were seen through the window. After 20 hours train ride, the train arrived at Banff station  at 18:00pm.
